This week we had the challenge of creating Victorian style canape trays for an upcoming event, which is inspired by the singer Marie Lloyd. Having researched the life of Marie, we collected lots of bits and bobs to put together for our trays. The photograph below shows the singer and her glamorous style, which inspired us when designing our trays.
Above is the visual board we created to show our ideas of theme and colour. The idea was to create a story within the trays. Victorian treasures, collectables, and glamour were all ideas we considered during the design process.
